PURPOSE

Our Product Manager(s) are responsible for driving the development and execution of product strategies to meet the very ambitious product goals and customer problems we aim at addressing. You're oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch, and beyond, ensuring product alignment with company objectives and global market demands. The primary purpose of this role is to drive and own product success by collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing product development, and delivering exceptional user experiences.

OBJECTIVES

  • Develop and execute and own product strategies in alignment with company our goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and gather feedback from customers to identify opportunities and product opportunities.
  • Formulate and manage product domain roadmaps and prioritise product features based on addressing key product principles of value, usability, feasibility and business viability risks.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, commercial and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Create, own and maintain product documentation, including user stories, specifications, and release plans.
  • Analyse product metrics and user feedback to iterate and improve product performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform product decisions.
  • Act as a product evangelist by effectively communicating product vision, value proposition, and updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Lead product-led cross-functional teams through the product development process, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Manage product launches and post-launch activities, including marketing campaigns and user training.
Role Requirements

FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, information systems or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the technology or software industry.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and managing products from concept to delivery.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an product-led environment.
  • Proven ability to drive results and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with design thinking principles and UX/UI best practices is a plus.
  • Experience with B2B or SaaS products is desirable but not required.

KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven track record of product management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of product methodologies and product management best practices.
  • Ability to translate customer problmes/needs into product requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Technical aptitude to understand complex systems and technologies.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Data-driven decision-making and proficiency in analytics tools like Mixpanel, SQL, BI Reporting Tools.
  • Leadership and team-building skills to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers,  for implementation of designs
  • Excellent communication (presentation and interpersonal skills )
  • Proven UI/UX Design experience through a comprehensive portfolio
  • Abreast with latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
