We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead the development and integration of a payment product into our B2B platform specifically designed for the fresh produce industry. This role involves not only managing the technical aspects of product development but also ensuring full compliance with financial regulations and standards set by bodies such as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product management within financial services or payments solutions and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance in financial transactions.


  • Product Development: Lead the planning, development, and launch of a sophisticated payments solution tailored to the needs of the fresh produce industry. Ensure the product is user-friendly, secure, and enhances business operations for our clients.
  • Compliance management: Oversee all aspects of compliance, including adherence to regulations by financial authorities like the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Stay updated with changing regulations and implement necessary changes in our system promptly. 
  • Develop and execute on product strategy in alignment with company and platform strategies.
  • Conduct product discovery and gather feedback from customers to identify opportunities and prioritise features.
  • Formulate product roadmap, product problems and prioritise features based on business impact as well as customer value.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, data engineering and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including user stories, specifications, and release plans.
  • Analyse product metrics and user feedback to iterate and improve product performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform product decisions.
  • Act as a product evangelist by effectively communicating product vision, value proposition, and updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product development process, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Manage product launches and post-launch activities, including marketing campaigns and user training.
Role Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, computer science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payment or compliance product management, preferably in the technology or software industry.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and managing products from concept to delivery.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Proven ability to drive results and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with design thinking principles and UX/UI best practices is a plus.
  • Experience with B2B or SaaS products is desirable but not required.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven track record of product management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of product methodologies and product management best practices.
  • Ability to translate customer problems into product requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Technical aptitude to understand complex systems and technologies.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Data-driven decision-making and proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel.
  • Leadership and team-building skills to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.


  • Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers and designers for implementation of designs.
  • Excellent communication (presentation and interpersonal skills).
  • Proven product experience through a comprehensive portfolio of product delivery.
  • Abreast with latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
